Nina Brewer- CoFounder
Nina Brewer is a small business owner who specializes in Social Media Marketing. She lives in Rochester, New York with her husband and two children. In May 2018, she quit her job as a restaurant manager to focus on her business full time. She had it in her heart that she would be able to stay home after the birth of her daughter and work hard to meet her goal months ahead of schedule. Nina spends time between working her business, taking her son to Cub Scouts and Tae Kwon Do, and getting to watch her daughter grow very quickly. She loves helping people and has always had a passion for gratitude and giving back, specially when it comes to children. She met the other founders when they were introduced to a little girl who was fighting a very rare form of pediatric brain cancer. It was put on their hearts to be able to help other families just as they did with that one. Soon, conversations brought ideas that took on a life of their own and The Little Yellow Hearts was born. They breathed life into it and they hope to be able to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer “one page at a time.” This cause is so near and dear to their hearts. Thank you so much for being here!
Meghan Williams- CoFounder
Meghan Williams is from Grand Junction, Colorado. She has a passion for wanting to help people. Meghan was touched by a child who ended up losing her life due to a rare pediatric brain cancer and felt called to help other families like she did for that specific family. While she was helping that family out, she met the current cofounders of The Little Yellow Hearts. It is Meghan’s hope, just like the rest of the founders, to raise money for pediatric cancer one page at a time and bring awareness to a cause that is so near and dear to her heart. Outside of The Little Yellow Bookmark, she is a stay at home mom and wife. She left her career at a local doctor’s office to be a stay at home mom. She spends her time between soccer games and concerts with her teenage son and days at the park and play dates with her toddler.
Christine Park- CoFounder
Christine is from Suwanee, GA, but is currently in Texas for college. She is a full time student at Baylor University, majoring in communication science and disorders and minoring in child and family studies. She runs an Etsy shop, Lettering By Christine, where she hand-letters her designs and turns them into stickers and t-shirts. Christine was inspired by the story of a young girl who lost her life battling a rare pediatric brain cancer and wanted to do more for families going through tough times. Through this girl’s journey, she was able to meet the cofounders of The Little Yellow Hearts Foundation. Together they started to dream about and plan out ways to help out families battling pediatric cancer, and now, it has turned into a reality! She is so excited to start helping out more families and raise more awareness for pediatric cancer!
